The Self Pleasure Institute

Our launch programs · Coming Soon

Your certification pathway.

The Self Pleasure Institute is launching with six professional certification programs. Every credential is nonclinical and holistic by design: SPI is not a clinical institution, we do not provide therapy, and our certifications do not qualify graduates to provide it. Start with the work you want to do, understand the role it requires, and choose the credential with the matching scope.

Apply for certification

Applications are available for admissions review. Training programs remain Coming Soon.

01

Understand the role

Teaching, individual guidance, coaching, group facilitation, or specialist knowledge.

02

Choose your program

Compare six credentials by subject matter and the work each qualifies you to do.

03

Apply for admission

Submit your application. SPI reviews your background, experience, goals, and readiness before approval and full tuition payment.

01 · Understand the role

Different roles. Different responsibilities.

These titles are not interchangeable. A credential defines a specific scope; it does not automatically qualify its holder for every other professional role. Every SPI role is defined by a nonclinical, holistic scope of practice — none of them is a license to diagnose, treat, or provide therapy.

02 · Choose your program

What work do you want to do?

Six distinct pathways—not six levels of the same qualification. Select your intended work to see the corresponding credential and how it differs from the others.

Educator · CME · Coming Soon

Certified Masturbation Educator

What it qualifies you to do
Teach masturbation science, anatomy, sexual response, techniques, and sexual health.
Your area of focus
Subject-based teaching about masturbation, the body, and sexual health.
How this path differs
Choose CME for masturbation-specific subject matter; choose CSPE for body awareness and somatic approaches. Teaching subject matter is distinct from facilitating a guided group experience.

Choose Fully Virtual or Hybrid when you apply. Submission does not guarantee admission or immediate access to training.

Scope of practice

Education and certification — not therapy.

The Self Pleasure Institute is a holistic education and certification body, not a clinical institution. We do not provide therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or any form of therapeutic care, and SPI certification is an Institute-issued educational credential — not a clinical license. These programs do not qualify graduates to diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions, or to provide therapy of any kind. Where a topic calls for clinical or medical expertise, we refer to qualified professionals. External accreditation and continuing education approval are not currently claimed.

Our model

Holistic, nonclinical, and educational by design: defined subject knowledge, structured guidance, and facilitated experience — never treatment.
